John L. Acierno
John L. Acierno is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Transportation Group. In this capacity, he is charged with company strategy, business development and the overall day-to-day responsibilities of the company.
John joined his family's business in 1986, and he has been President and Chief Executive Officer ever since. John has successfully transitioned the company from a cab company to the largest ground transportation company in North America. Prior to joining ETG, John served as a labor attorney for Proskauer Rose and labor counsel for RH Macys, from 1983 - 1986. John received his law degree in 1983 from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
One of John's many accomplishments was being named Premium Service Operator of the Year in 1996 by the International Taxicab and Livery Association (ITLA). John was also the first president of the Black Car Industry Association from 1993 - 1997 and currently serves on its Board of Directors. One of his industry contributions was by playing an integral role in the passage of the New York Black Car Operators' Insurance Compensation Fund, where he currently serves on its Board of Directors.
John L. Acierno III (Chip)
John L. Acierno III (Chip) is Executive Vice President of marketing, sales and customer service. He has played an important role in helping ETG evolve into the largest ground transportation company of its kind in North America.
Chip has been with the Company since 1987. Prior to joining ETG, Chip worked in restaurant management and development for the Pillsbury organization. Chip graduated from Florida International University in 1983 with a degree in Hospitality and Travel Management.
Jeffrey Acierno
Jeffrey Acierno joined ETG in 1988, when he began as Executive Vice President of driver services. Jeffrey oversees all driver related functions including franchise sales, training, recruiting, insurance and licensing requirements for ETG and its affiliates.
Jeffrey plays a vital role in ensuring that the growth and quality of our driver population is commensurate with the business needs.

The Executive Transportation Group (ETG) has been family owned and operated since 1917. The company has a rich tradition that can be traced back through four generations of the Acierno family. Beginning in the nineteenth century, providing stagecoach service in Europe, the company eventually evolved into the industry leader it is today. In 1974 Executive Charge, Inc. was created as the billing company. At that time the company was focused on the taxi business.
In the 1970's the company began acquiring limousine services (which were to become Black Car services in the 80's). Over the course of time, the company has been carefully building, acquiring, partnering and/or placing management agreements in place with numerous companies. This now encompasses 16 companies, including Limousine and Executive Sedan services through Black Car (Corporate Sedan) and event management services.
